Billy R. Jeffers
Principal Attorney
Billy R. Jeffers founded Heart of Texas Attorney, PLLC to bring accessible, high-quality legal representation to the people of Brady and the Heart of Texas.
Billy earned his B.B.A. in Accounting from Oklahoma Christian University in 2000, followed by an M.B.A. from the University of Toledo in 2003. He later earned an M.S. in Energy Legal Studies from Oklahoma City University in 2013 and his Juris Doctor from the University of Toledo in 2019. Before becoming an attorney, Billy developed substantial experience in several industries. He worked in both personal and commercial banking with Fifth Third Bank, gained experience in the insurance industry with Cincinnati Insurance Company, and worked as a Landman for Chesapeake Energy. This combination of legal, financial, insurance, and energy-industry experience provides Billy with a unique perspective when addressing his clients’ legal and business concerns.
Billy began practicing law in November 2019. Before becoming licensed to practice in Texas state courts, Billy represented clients in both Michigan and Ohio. He was also admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan. Billy’s practice encompasses a broad range of legal matters, including civil litigation, real property matters, landlord-tenant disputes, estate planning and probate, family law, criminal law, personal injury, and general civil practice. His approach is centered on developing strong relationships with his clients, understanding their objectives, and providing thoughtful legal advice and representation.
